I have tried several times to download the free version if Secunia PSI from the Secunia website without success. I'm using the latest version of Foxfire on Windows XP sp3. When i click on download the Foxfire download box shows "cancelled". Right clicking in that box, a "retry" option pops up. When i click that, it seems to download but it doesn't. Performing a computer-wide search for Secunia, it cannot be found anywhere. I do not have java installed - is that a requirement? Any ideas what the problem might be? |

Hi, Have no java installed here, but file downloads normally and saves to download folder as it should. Do not run version 3.0.0.4001, which is likely to be the version you are trying to download. Best suggestion is to try using another computer to download the file you want. What happens? Are you able to download/save using a different computer? If that works, what happens if you transfer that file to the system you want to put it on? Can you install it there? Use an USB stick to transfer over. Please post back with your results. Perhaps Maurice can point you to older versions if that would help. Could be that protection software you have installed is preventing the download/save operation or malware is present.
