hi Is the update you are trying to install through the Windows automatic updates? If so what I usually try is to take a note of the KB number go to the Microsoft website, enter the number into the search box and download/install manually. This works when the automatic updates don't. Michael -- Michael Toshiba Satelite A660 Intel i7 Windows 7 Ultimate IE9 Toshiba Equium Laptop Intel Centrino Duo Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 IE9 |

I looked at the logs and it says that the last update is not finished... and i'm not gonna spend my time on this... I can live with the SQL server express not being updated... Thanks |

If you "Google" your KB N° you will find over 26,000 entries . This "problem" seems to have been around sometime and depends on many variables and so do the suggested fixes . I think error code 1612 means that there is no installation source available. -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |
