Same thing here. After rebooting following a Windows Update, Secunia PSI 3.0 now finds NO programs (except for Windows 7). History is also completely empty. |

I confirm above reports, although for me this is only occurring on Windows7 32-bit platform my Windows7 64-bit version is reporting all 68 programs up to date.

I have tested the scanner using: PSI 1.5.0.2 on 32Bit XP SP3 PSI 2.0..3003 on 64Bit Windows 7 PSI 2.0..4003 on 32Bit Windows 7 PSI 3.0..4001 on a 64 BIT Windows 7 Only version 3.0..4001 returns the error reported although I note that @ourstanley has got his 64Bit up & running. May be a good idea to alert Secunia Support at support@secunia.com if the problem persists. -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

I have the exact same problem, but on one machine only: an older Asus netbook with Windows XP. It seems it has something to do with a complete scan after the windows update. Three other machines did not have this problem; two Windows 7, one Windows XP computers. All machines are up to date with all programs including the OS. On one of the Windows 7 machines I ran a complete program scan (pressing the Scan again button): before the scan the list consisted of 46 programs (all up to date) and after the scan only Microsoft Windows 7 is on the list. I did a reinstall of PSI 3.0.0.2003: no resolution. I did a reinstall of PSI 3 and in between removed the Secunia\PSI directory in program files: no resolution. I'm very interested in a solution for this problem. |

Another data point in addition to my previous post: PSI 3.0.0.4001 has the same problem on the Windows 7 computer as PSI 3.0.0.2003.

I didn't realise there was a newer version than 3.0.0.3001 so I have since updated both my laptop and Desktop PC's to 3.0.0.4001 and now the problem exists on both. : ( Edit Strange, after rescanning again Secunia PSI is working correctly on my 64-bit version. |

I Re-installed Java and it now works. Windows update may have damaged Java. Can anyone confirm. Regards Rob

Must have been a coincidence Secunia on-line wasn't working either and that does use Java which is why I re-installed in first place.

Same here, after scanning again all programs are present in the PSI listing. Perhaps a problem with the online definitions of Secunia. It's solved anyway. |

after reading all the info i reinstalled psi 2.0 - and now it is working as expected. looks like the search rules were not what they should have been (that's my explanation). thanks for all the info. |

HI , The errors you have reported of 0% normally means that the Secunia servers holding your data) are "wonky" at Secunia's end . The problem incidence/time can vary with geo-location and the relevant server(s) . You cannot fix the problem yourself unless it is something else :ie: persists (a long time) after others report the problem solved ; I did not appear to suffer from France . Take care Anthony -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

Secunia have confirmed by email that the "missing programmes" issue has been fixed. I have tested it against PSI versions 1.5.0.2 - 2.0.0.3003 - 2.0.0.4003 & 3.0.0.4001 & can confirm that is the case including the display of Flash. A full PSI rescan is required to achieve the results. -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

Similar problems here. First PSI 2.0 with Windows XP Home SP3 on my DELL Inspiron 6000 was working. When PSI 3.0 came along it's working with Windows 7 Home Premium on my desktop DELL XPS-420 (71 programs showing as of today) but neither PSI 3.0 nor 2.0 are now working any more on my notebook. Start screen will open, red bar shows LOADING ... and then nothing happens except hard drive LED is blinking on taskbar. Tried this several times - always the same. Does anyone have an idea why PSI isn't working with Windows XP? |
