After applying the "solution" by Secunia PSI the upgrade to Adobe Flash Player downloads and starts installing. PSI says it is "waiting for the update to complete" 2 days later. I've rescanned the program, shut down and rebooted the PC and PSI still says the same thing. Any ideas how to fix? Here is the PSI troubleshooting report: Program Name: Adobe Flash Player 11.x (NPAPI) Security State: Insecure Download Link: http://dl.secunia.com/SPS/AdobeFlashPlayer_11.4.40... Numerous user report the slowness of updating on occasions. I would manually complete the task from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

Manual download completes but PSI still says "waiting for update to complete" after rescan. Anyone with other suggestions?

So the solution (per the other thread) is to do nothing and wait for PSI to fix the problem?

It looks that way on reading ddmarshall's post. I am surprised Secunia Support of not commented on that post to confirm the details. Equally, I am unsure whether he or anyone else has contacted support asking them to adjust their database. -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |
