After applying the "solution" by Secunia PSI the upgrade to Adobe Flash Player downloads and starts installing. PSI says it is "waiting for the update to complete" 2 days later. I've rescanned the program, shut down and rebooted the PC and PSI still says the same thing. Any ideas how to fix? Here is the PSI troubleshooting report: Program Name: Adobe Flash Player 11.x (NPAPI) Security State: Insecure Download Link: http://dl.secunia.com/SPS/AdobeFlashPlayer_11.4.40... Numerous user report the slowness of updating on occasions. I would manually complete the task from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ -- Maurice Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit OS HP Intel Pentium i7 IE 10 for Windows 7 16GB RAM |

Manual download completes but PSI still says "waiting for update to complete" after rescan. Anyone with other suggestions? | ||||||||

So the solution (per the other thread) is to do nothing and wait for PSI to fix the problem? | ||||||||

It looks that way on reading ddmarshall's post. I am surprised Secunia Support of not commented on that post to confirm the details. We have updated our detection rules and after a rescan the issue should now have been fixed. |
