Sorry Secunia, but I had to go back to version 2. After installing version 3, I noticed that the app wanted to start up automatically with system boot....so, since I don't need the program running in the background all the time, I set it's parameters in windows services to manual. I also noticed that the tray icon app was starting along with the main app and I changed that to manual in windows services also. Therefore, neither program or feature would start automatically with system boot. However, when I clicked on the main program shortcut icon, both the main app and the icon tray start. No biggie as I am working with the program. But, when I closed out the main app, the tray icon stayed active and I had to shut it down individually. I then tried setting both to "disabled" in windows services hoping that once I closed out the main app both apps would exit. Doesn't happen. No matter how I set the the parameters, the tray icon wants to stay active and I have to shut it down manually. So, I have reverted back to version 2 where both the main app and the tray icon exit and close out when I want them to. Sorry guys, but a lot of the "GOOD STUFF" you had in version 2 should have been carried over to version 3. I can understand that some people don't want to know or even need to know more likely, all the information that version 2 provides to a user. But there are a lot of us out here that definitely like the way version 2 displayed it's information and the way we were able to deal with that information easily and smoothly. Version 3 makes it rather clunky to deal with displayed information and does not display all the good information that some of us were used to seeing in version 2. All that plus the functionality not working the way version 2 did.....well.....just had to go back to version 2. Thanks for all your hard work and keep at. Version 3 may come together for everyone someday. Bill |
