I recently installed a "new" computer with Windows XP-SP3. Naturally I ran PSI after installing all required software programs and Microsoft Updates.

PSI indicated that there is one program that needs updating:
Microsoft Removal Tool: Blaster/Nachi

When I "click to update" it leads me to the Microsoft® Windows® Malicious Software Removal Tool (KB890830) page [ http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.as... ]. I download and run the patch [Windows-KB890830-V4.14.exe], which installs and runs MRT.exe (File Version 4.14.6800.0).

Yet, PSI still flags that as "needs updating". Is that a problem with the PSI detection mechanism?

Could it be referring to that XP will no longer be serviced my MS in a few week time end of 2012 if I am correct?
