Ive deleted flash player several times and reinstalled as well, however when I run Secunia Im still receiving the message (Insecure programme - path c:\windows\system32\NPSWF32.DLL). I do not have flash player currently installed.

Adobe have recognised that Flash can be troublesome to remove and have issued a special uninstaller. They do not advise using the normal add/remove in Control Panel.

Download & use the flash uninstaller from here:

http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?ext...

Reboot to clear out any left over files.

Check PSI which should be clear of any flash elements. (The Secunia overview page might look a little odd because it relies on flash to show the pictorials)

If not all clear track down any leftover files. What is the path to them?

Reinstall the latest Flash Player from here:

Another way to remove old Flash Players and JAVA Runtimes is with a freeware product called Revo Uninstaller:

http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_fr...

It can detect instances of old players not listed in the Windows Add/Remove Programs List. And Revo uses a four-step removal process which also helps clean up Registry traces and junk files.
