Hello,

Typically, before installing a new version of a software, you can:
- Or uninstall the old version, then install the new
- Either install the new version without uninstalling the old one.

This second procedure has to be followed with Secunia
I wanted to uninstall Secunia version 1.0 in order to install the latest version
But the installer, despite the care taken to remove the software, finds probably some remains and does not want to proceed to installation.

Here are my questions

A / Is there an uninstaller to remove all traces of Secunia for reinstalling a new version when we have forget you must not uninstall old version?
B / Otherwise, what is the manual procedure to which the message refers

NB
To resolve the issue, I am reinstall a fresh clone of my C drive

Good bye

Try Revo Uninstaler for WINx86 systems. It usualy finds a big mess when uninstalling anything.

You would have to install Revo then reinstall the version of psi you had then uninstall it using Revo. that would clean it right out.

If you do flash your drive with your ghost, install Revo afterwards. its always useful.

Hello

A/ I like Revo uninstaller and also Total uninstall.
But the first installation of Secunia was made before using Total uninstall, so Secunia has left traces.

I have used Total uninstall this time and after that, Secunia does not agree with installing

And Revo uninstaller could not do anything because PSI SEcunia would not be found.

My clone was 10 hours old when I reinstall C : there was no problem.

But to have a Secunia cleaner would be a good idea

B/ Ma pseudo is
sepjcg when I am using portable with Vista ;
sejcg when I am on a desk computer with XP.
This is the first message of sejcg

How to go directly to the forum without using PSI software ?
Now, I have not a password

Thank you
