Hi,

I created a package to update oracle Java JRE 1.7.x to the lastest version 7.0.110.21 via CSI console.
I see that the update was installed successfuly (from history windows update) but actually the update was not installed and the version is still 7.0.90.5.
What can I do ?

CSI agent version : 5.0.0.1006
Thanks
Ido

This thread is dealing with the CSI console. I am currently previewing xSI for Secunia which is a mini version of CSI.

There is no way that I &, I suspect, CSI administrators know what type of PC is connected to an Endpoint to either create/distribute a central patch or, in the case of xSI, advise on any "special" download links.

I am not aware that Oracle JAVA is OEM specific. Where is this "fact" documented on the JAVA website? Can you point to the various links for the different PC manufacturers on the Oracle website in support your statement.

As far as I know it is like any other programme "one size fits all" for 32 Bit browser & a separate download for 64 Bit.
