After posting this a few minutes ago

http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/138...

I thought I'd check so I scanned again. The results and list of programs came back after about six minutes, so that OK.

But on my Win7 I now have five "ignored" programs: Cyberlink YouCam 2.x / Driver Package Installer 2.x / the 64 bit version of the latter / Microsoft Works9.x and Synaptics Pointing Device Driver 13.x

I may be having a 'senior' moment but I really do not recall creating an 'Ignore' rule for these, nor do I recall seing them at the end of previous scans.

(1) Is there anywhere that I can look to check my 'ignored' programs? If so will it show the date created?

(2) If not, is there any other way that a scan will suddenly pick up or create an 'ignored' program??

I have reported this as a bug to Secunia Support thinking it was unique to Windows 8 - clearly not.

My bug report was:

Programmes are being ignored by PSI without interaction by the user.

If you reinstate the ignore rule it will be correctly reinstated.

Close PSI & reopen it & once again PSI does its own thing & ignores the same programmes again.

Is that your bug?

This is the first time it's happened to me (I think) so I'll follow your advice, see what happens and get back soonest.

If it is persistant it is better if you keep screen shots & send them with details to Secunia Support.

You should state which OS this occurs on & PSI version.

By mutual agreement my bug report is on "hold" until more users report it so if it is occuring elsewhere Support do require alerting.
