Just did a Windows 7 update and the Secunia 2 screen hung after rebooting. Uninstalled, reinstalled (got 3.0), but opening screen still hangs on "LOADING ...".

Sadly a well known issue. Try closing it to the tasktray & then relaunch it from there. You may need to do it a few times.

PS shouldn't someone mention teh dangers of showing your email address in your name? If I do it, that'll cause someone to -1 me again! ;o)

Perhaps 'danger' is too strong a word, Maurice - I really don't know - but there are many precedents on this forum telling new members not to display their full email address for all to see.

I think the first member I saw posting advice as I did was Anthony. He may remember if he sees this.

Whether it is 'dangerous' or 'bad practice' surely you're not suggesting that it's good practice?

I've been unable to find a FAQ for people about to join but if there is I would expect it to say "don't show your email address".
