Can you help us? We used to have similar problems after a windows update, then it was solved by installing certain KB update package. What are the next steps to solve the problem we have?

Last edited on 4th Jul, 2013 12:49 Hi,

Please go to your WSUS server, enter Start menu and type 'appwiz.cpl' in the Search field. Alternatively, please open the 'Run' feature and then enter 'appwiz.cpl'.

At the new window (Programs & Features) find and click on 'View Installed Updates' menu and go to the bottom of the list with installed updates on the WSUS server. You shall see the different Windows Server Update Services hot-fixes that were installed locally. Please write down the KB numbers of each of the updates visible and make sure you installed those same KBs on the CSI Client.

After making both machines on the same patch level, restart CSI and try publishing again.

If the WSUS and the CSI host have the same patches installed but the problem continue to persist, then please reply back to us here with further information about your setup, particularly including information about the following:

1. On what OS do you have CSI installed?
2. On what OS is the WSUS server installed
3. Which edition of the CSI you ran on your host - 32-bit or 64-bit CSI console?

I hope my information helped you resolve the issue.

Kind Regards | Stay Secure

Last edited on 5th Jul, 2013 13:36 The problem was solved after installing KB2734608 patch manually. Publishing patches works again. I haven´t matched all of the other updates on both csi and wsus, since it would be too complicated. But in this particular case, the above Windows patch caused the uncompatibility in the WUS Administrative Console.

Thank you for the support. I hope it would be helpful also to other CSI customers.
