Hi,

After you've clicked on 'Create Update Package' within the Secunia Package System, a new package creation wizard would appear on your screen. At the first page of the wizard (also referred to as Step 1), you should tick the checkbox 'Edit Package Content' and then click Next.

At step 2, under 'Files to Include' you will find the ''Add Localisation'' button which allows you to select different language for your package than the default English. After adding your preferred language, please right-click on the English download link for the English version and remove it.

You can now publish your German-language package to your systems.

Hi Rosen,

in step two of SPS package creation there is option \"Add Local File\". Is this the option that you are reffering to when you wrote \"Add Localization\"?

EDIT. Sorry for bothering you, I just found on 37th page of Secunia CSI Best Practice guide that some software(like incremental releases) doesn't include language selection option("Add Locallization file").

Hi,

Please excuse me if my answer was not complete in this regard.

You are correct, only full-installation files allow you to select new language for your Adobe Reader package. Incremental releases inherit the language from the full-installation and require you to create package for the correct language being installed on your Clients.

Else, if you publish English incremental patch to patch f.e. German installation of Adobe Reader, the patch will likely fail with error code 1642 visible in the SecuniaPackage.log file under C:\Windows.
