The Secunia PSI will be down for maintenance, due to backend upgrades.

The maintenance will commence on Thursday September 26th at 11.45pm CEST and we will be back online no later than Saturday September 28th at 11.45pm CEST.

During the period, the PSI will be unavailable and so will the Forum in the meantime, we suggest you keep an eye on our advisories at https://secunia.com/community/advisories/historic/

During the maintenance period users will not be able to use PSI.
We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result.

Kind regards,
The Secunia PSI Team

The Forum and the PSI are now up and running again, and will be working better than ever.

As always, feel free to comment, and to create new threads for any specific issues you might experience.

Thank you. The PSI has certainly speeded up. Well below my benchmark figures of 1-10 seconds GUI load & full PSI scan for 100 odd items 1 - 20 seconds.

The Forum speed is excellent to.

Hi ,

My 2.0.0.3003 on XP loaded/connected to the servers at "normal" speed but a manual full scan took over 5 mins. "Originally" the scan speed was usually over 2 min and less than 3 ; recently , during the server problems , this has/had stretched to over 4 mins and sometimes over 5 - like today .

Forum navigation "speed" is good in both Firefox and Chrome - no point in (re)mentioning the overall design faults .

Will see how it goes for the next few days ; at least posting here is no longer one of life's Herculean Labours :))

Take care

Anthony

Hi all

v.1.5.0.2 seems to connect quicker to servers
& navigates around Forum smoother. I didn't
'stopwatch' these actions-just feels faster.

Manual scan time remains about the same according
to report at end of scan-just over 4 & 1/2 minutes-but
'lost' IE8 both in Patched & Secure Browsing sections.
Not gonna send Request a program-I know it's still
there-unfortunately.

Thanks Secunia for all your hard work to maintain
this fine free program.

Regards, wr

Hello again ,

For me , the website "feels" faster as when you click a link there is almost no delay and with a precise response .

Thanks for that .

Yesterday , a full manual scan with the PSI took about 4 and a 1/2 mins. Today it took 5 and a 1/3 mins. the first two to complete stage 3 and the virtually all the rest to complete the two stage part 4 (1 + 2 1/3) .

So maybe slower than ever .

Take care

Anthony

psi 2.0.0.3003 running on Vista

Well over 4 mins scanning yesterday.....3.19 secs today. About 31/2 mins used to be the norm prior to the scheduled downtime.
I've set to boot-time defrag three times a week, from now on, as I'm fairly sure it affects the figures.

Site navigation remaining much improved....following maintenance.

Very happy with it......
