Hello, I'm using PSI 3.0.0.4001.
I'm also using Oracle VM Virtualbox 4.2.16.0. Secunia says it's the up-to-date version. But If I launch the program, I'm redirected to 4.2.18.0 version. So I think that there's a lack of detection in this case.

Even if the upgrade recommended by Oracle is not necessary for security reason, it could be interesting to ensure that users run the last version

Tristan

Tristan,
Secunia do make it clear that they are not in the business of general updating of programmes. They concentrate on keeping individuals secure. Oracle VirtualBox 4.2.16.0 is secure according to the Secunia database hence it is showing up to date security wise.

To the best of my knowledge they have no plans to change their Modus Operandi

In point of fact you are using a very old copy of PSI version 3. It is secure hence once again, it shows as up to date after any PSI scan. Details of bug fix/cosmetic changes to PSI can be viewed here with a download link if required.
