Before I posted this, I checked out Mogs' thread here:
Then I checked the Microsoft Updates on my desktop - an even bigger list.
So now I'm confused - again.
Many weeks ago, Microsoft announced there were security flaws in all of the Internet Explorer products and said they were issuing a fix. Then they didn't - then there was another security flaw . . . . as nauseum.
Can anyone tell me please whether or not Microsoft actually got around to making my Internet Explorer 8 safe.
PS I have a replacement desktop - Win7/IE10 - and when I find the time to set it up my XP/IE8 will become a word processor for a local charity but intil then I have to use it.

|I don't think that there are any unmatched public vulnerabilities for IE but the Office bug can be exploited by browsing to a specially crafted website.
