http://imgur.com/qkddexP The link that the button in the bottom of the modal, links to https://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/ which gives an SSL error, because www. is not covered by the certificate https://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/ works fine tho

Next, why am i seeing the message telling me that i have to install Windows Update anyway ?

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback, I'll forward the details to our developers so they can change the link and get rid of the SSL error.

By default, Windows Update only covers updates to Windows whereas Microsoft Update covers a much larger variety of software from Microsoft, such as Office.
