Could someone please remind me (I'm sure I knew once upon a time) how to make PSI update itself? I am currently running 3.0.0.7009 and I think I ought to be running 3.0.0.9016.
I can't seem to find a way to force an update.
There's something hugely ironic about an update checking program being out of date isn't there?
I am running Windows 7 64 bit
4Ghz 6GB RAM
Thanks in advance.

It is not possible. You have to search the Secunia Website here & download manually.

https://secunia.com/products/consumer/PSI/sys_req/

PSI is a vulnerability checker. It is not a general updater therefore unless a programme (including PSI) is vulnerable Secunia are not interested.

This also applies to programmes in ALPHA or BETA

OK Maurice thanks for the speedy reply - but I give up! I've been all over the website and learned lots of stuff I didn't know existed but I can't find anything about updates.
Maybe I'm just more senile than I thought I was, but if you could nudge me in the right direction I'd be most grateful.
Cheers

Des,
The download link & change log is here:
https://secunia.com/products/consumer/PSI/sys_req/

You will not find anything about updating PSI. Members asked for an update link to be incorporated into the programme years ago - like most requests for improvements or bug fixes they just get kicked into the "long grass". The developers appear to have no interest in providing this basic requirement or fixing bugs.

This is the clue about updating programmes:

Does that help?
