I have a couple of programs that show as needing update or delete. Since I have newer versions, I'd like to delete them. Problem: When I go to Control Panel, Add or Delete programs, the program doesn't show up.
Question: Where do I find those programs not listed on the populated listing under Control Panel. They also don't show up when I go to C:programs/(name of particular progam.) I'm totally lost now. Help?

Hi Wanda.
If you open PSI in the advanced mode you can mouse over the program(s) & the file/path will be revealed so you can delete them. If this fails you might want to download this program & it will no doubt list all your programs so you can delete them. Its free & is basically a 1 step operation. Good luck.

To locate the exact file that the Secunia PSI has detected, please follow these guidelines using the
ADVANCED interface:
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
* Click on the + sign of the program to “expand’ it.
* Click on Technical Details in the Toolbox to see the installation path of the detected file.
* Remember the installation path and close down the menu.
* Click Open Folder and locate the detected file.

Hi WR

Eureka!!Thanks for your help. Took me a while to work out the instructions as I can be pretty dim at times. But programmes have been removed.

Thanks again
