A few months ago I requested help with Secunia PSI because some programs were not being updated automatically (http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/146...).

Maurice Joyce, a handling contributor, answered the following:

"Auto updating is an option/feature that some users might want to use but it does not/may not produce instant results.
On that basis many advise & comment on this Forum to update any programme manually if automation appears to fail."

The product description in the main PSI page (http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal...) states:
"[Secunia PSI] supplies your computer with the necessary software security updates to keep it safe. The Secunia PSI even automates the updates for your insecure programs."

Based on Joyce's reply, this seems like false advertisement, right?
