Hi,

I wasn't sure how else to report this to Secunia. The following application is reported by Secunia PSI as being end-of-life but it doesn't appear to be out of support with the vendor:

GPowerNT 3.x

version 3.1.9.2.

If you go to the following web page you can see that this is the very latest version of the application and that it was just released earlier this year:

http://www.gpower.hhu.de/en.html

Perhaps Secunia could update their definitions to specify that this version is still being supported by the vendor.

Thanks,

Alan

Alan.
The chances of you getting help or advice from Secunia Support on this Forum is rated at best as ZERO.

I would forward your information by email to support@secunia.com

With luck it will be seen by Amalie Jonassen, File Signatures Team Lead & you will get a sensible reply.

Hi Maurice,

Ah, thanks, that's good to know. Yeah I hadn't even wanted to post the problem here on these forums but I didn't know what Secunia's e-mail address was for reporting that kind of problem.

I myself don't use that GPowerNT application but my brother does and it would be cool if Secunia could update their signatures. If not then we can always tell the Secunia PSI to ignore the application.

Thanks for the info Maurice,

Alan

Hi Maurice,

Oh, actually now that I started typing up an e-mail to support@secunia.com I see that I actually have e-mailed that e-mail address before. I thought that I had e-mailed Secunia before but I just couldn't remember the e-mail address. So thanks for letting me know about that and also the person's name that leads the team that handles the file signatures.

Thanks again, Maurice.

Alan
