Hi, Secunia tells me that Vista needs updating but Windows tells me it is up to date. Any advice?

You are showing as 100% secure.

Can you explain a bit more about the message you are receiving - a screen shot would be even better.

You have also posted about MSXML 4 recently - have you removed it?

Hi Maurice. Nothing unusual, just the Windows icon with 'click to update' underneath it. If I right click and follow the more information tag I get this -
Microsoft Windows Ancillary Function Driver (AFD) Double-Free Privilege Escalation Vulnerability.

Looks like it is referring to this:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/securi...

Worth checking you have KB number update installed correctly.

MBSA might help you further:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.as...

Easy to understand & use so do not be put off by IT Pro.

EDIT - This is the update that may be missing:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.as...

Thanks again for your reply, Maurice. The MBSA link does not refer to 32 bit and the KB29610 72 link claims it does not apply to my system.
