Secunia PSI has noted, accurately, that TrueCrypt 7.1a is no longer supported by TrueCrypt.org, which has disbanded. A new group, TrueCrypt.ch, has offered the widely used TrueCrypt 7.1a and says they are working on an audit and an update.

Does either Secunia or others in the community have a view about whether to continue using 7.1a or switching to another program? The old TrueCrypt site seemed to be recommending Microsoft's Bitlocker, but I've heard just the opposite from others.
