A PSI scan just now highlighted that my Adobe Air v220.127.116.11 needed to be updated to .178
Rather than use PSI, I went to the Adobe website and downloaded it from there but it stopped the download saying that I already had the latest version.
I re-checked - yes I had the old version so went back to Adobe and got the same message. My phone then rang and, as I was talking, about two minutes later up popped the message that an update was available. That installed without problems.
The Adobe web site is poor in that there is nothing going on on screen to tell you it is in fact installing a program/update.
So if you have the "latest version already installed", go and make some tea and let it work at its own snail's pace!
