I believe Adobe reader vulnerabilities have been patched with 9.1 However, can you run Foxit reader in lieu of Adobe reader and simply uninstall from add/remove entirely without losing functionality? Making Foxit the only pdf reader. Please advise. Thanks

If like many U only use Adobe Reader to read web pages & email attachments in the PDF format U only require a reader.

The updated Adobe (9.1) has put 3 elements in add/remove
Adobe Reader
Acrobat.com
Air
in all a total of 41.1MB!

Foxit is about 4MB

If U prefer Foxit U can uninstall all 3 Adobe elements and still read any PDF document perfectly.

I have also posted this to the other thread where the Foxit links are.

Hope this helps.

Don't know what the foul up was with secunia as far as a reply? O.k. I am with you on the adobe-reader,acrobat,air. I guess what I need is verification that I will be able to not only receive but to send. Ido a lot of wrting editing.
