I am opening this forum strictly for a few of us to go to in our query on the subject. We know that Foxit may not work with open office. I know, I read that Microsoft (proper/Co.) now endorses Foxit. Which only widens the distance between the two office programs. Hopefully. we'll be able to stay on subject with out digressing from other people problems. |

Thanks so much Maurice. The speed of your reply was great to say the least. Will check it out and get back to you. Currently using mozilla 3.1Beta 3 with pdf download. This allows me to switch between the two readers and HTML. It is basically sending from Open office. Thanks again.
O.k. Have since tried an open office doc. and it now succeeds by not going to either 0pen office,Foxit or Adope but by switching off to Microsoft Office. So it works. Advised Foxit Christina with ticket number. Hope situation is now resolved. However, new question in the interest "C" drive free space. Do you run Foxit exclusively or are you still holding on to Adobe? |

I do not use either.
Because I work with PDF alot I use PDF Converter & PDF Create Professional from Scansoft (Nuance).
Works beautifully but U need $99.99 to buy it. They tend to upgrade annually but are very kind in offering a 50% discount!!!!!!!!!!!!
My personal view on Adobe is that of pure bloatware with a very unimpressive support function. The amount of threads on this forum about Adobe products says it all!
We have just proved that Foxit has excellent support which is a bonus to any user plus the 37MB saved on the programme install which many only use in the basic function of reading PDF files.
