With all the privacy items now being offered by the different browsers. It is possible that one of the features are holding you out from updating. For e.g. downloading multiple items one right after the other may trigger a security feature that the browser is under attack. This can occur with mozilla firefox if you are using add-ons for privacy.i.e. cookie and script control. Mozilla offers "allow this page" to deal with downloads. This is offered as F.Y.I. and is connected to this Forum Thread: FIrefox 3.06 still shows insecure after installing patch
