Where are these errors located

To locate the exact file that the Secunia PSI has detected, use or switch to the ADVANCED interface, then :

1 Click on the + sign of the programme to “expand’ it.
2 Click on Technical Details in the Toolbox to see the installation path of the detected file. (Copy (CTRL+C) & paste (CTRL+V) the Installation Path of the file back to the Forum if U are unsure what to do next).

Hi

This should be the patch for Microsoft Office Groove 2007:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?fa...

Try to install it manually and see if it solves the problem.

I just tried the groove patch but it didn't work. When I tried to install the patch it came back and said it was already installed. Are you sure that the PSI is checking the correct files for the correct versions?

I've seen this before in Acrobat reader where the PSI was checking the version of the Acrord32.exe file instead of the acrord32.dll which was the changed file. Acrord32.exe is just a loader, all the functions are in the .dll.

Same thing is probably going on here.

suggestion only: possible work around--your decision. Uninstall the update you have. Reboot to clear out old files and then re-install the update from Secunia's link. Maybe,Luck

OK I will.. but there are another Programms- and I repeat: I have all Updates from MS:
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.0\Windows Communication Foundation\SMSvcHost.exe
C:\Programme\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe (MS says "you have the latest Version)
Diese Installation von Microsoft Windows XP Professional ist unsicher und setzt Ihr System potenziellen Bedrohungen aus! I have SP3

So what's wrong????

What browser are you using? If it is Firefox Net Framework 3.5 was declared unstable with security vulnerabilities by Firefox. The add-on was disabled. Outside of that the next thing go to Microsoft direct. You can also check your event viewer and see what it has to say. Maybe reading up on this threat may help. A lot of people are having problems with XP and updating from 10.20.2009 with large download of security updates. Maybe?
