After upgrading to the latest version 1003 it quit working. Seem to be trying to load the interface but can't.

Is this a known bug or is the site down?

Thanks in advance for any help

This has been a great application and I love it...

Your problem could be any 1 of a half dozen or more causes. Let's start with i. download site here http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal... ii. firewall settings iii. anti-spyware & anti-virus iv. internet connection settings v. ticked-save profile & the list goes on. I checked some of the threads on this forum & this is just a partial list of things that could need attention. Didn't see any particular problems that jumped out @ me. There was a problem w/Secunias server a few weeks back but there was more than 1 post about this issue. Don't know any other suggestions to make-good luck & I hope you quickly resolve your problem. Regards, wr

Ron,

Check out the official Secunia answers to this type of problem.

Link is here:

http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal...

I would opt for the Windows Clean Up tool & do a fresh reinstall.

Same problem.....

I have been using your product for a while now but today when I started secunia psi I had a problem. I receive the message “please wait while the secunia psi interface is loading this is expected to last less than 10 seconds” but I never get beyond that point. I have tried the following solutions but none of them have resolved the problem:

Removed the application, restarted my system, and reinstalled the program.

Completed the steps outlined on website…
• The Secunia PSI Status is stuck at "Please wait", and I still don't have scan results. What happened?
The Secunia PSI needs to be able to connect to Secunia servers to complete its scanning. However, if you have configured the security settings of your Internet Explorer, the Secunia PSI may be prevented from getting the scan results. To receive your scan results, you need to do some changes to your Internet options.
To do this:
a. Open Internet Explorer.
b. Go to Tools>Internet Options>Security tab.
c. Select the Internet zone and click on the Custom Level button.
d. In Security Settings, go to the Scripting>Active Scripting option.
e. Make sure that Active Scripting is Enabled (rather than Disabled or Prompted).
f. Press OK then Yes.
g. Back in the Security tab, select the Trusted sites zone and click on the Sites button.
h. Type in the following and press the Add button to add them to the Trusted Sites list:
http://*.secunia.com
https://*.secunia.com
i. Press Close, then OK.
j. Run the Secunia PSI again to view the scan results.
Turned off firewall and all security software.

I can use secunia on another computer on my home network so it’s not a problem with the firewall in my router.

I am out of ideas but I love this software, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Looks like everything is in order to me but I do not use Firefox.

I have been a bit cheeky & have asked Secunia support to check this thread & try & help out.
