Apparently, it sets itself up to scan automatically every seven days, but I can't find any way for the user to control that scheduling, neither the frequency (monthly, weekly, ...) nor the time of day. It'd be nice ...

(I'm using v1.0.0.4)

This is a response from another thread submitted last year.

I did contact Secunia at support@secunia.com and made the suggestion to provide for Scheduled Scanning. I received a response back in less than 1 hour and here it is:

"Hi
Thank you for contacting Secunia Support.

It is not a feature we are currently planning of implementing in the
PSI, so if you absolutely need it, you would need our commercial
product, the NSI.

Thank you for your suggestion."

Maurice, could this possibly be scheduled using Windoze Task Scheduler? I haven't twiddled with it-just a thought as I read this post.

That's right! But you can do something. I wanted Secunia to run on Tues-
day afternoon at 13.30. Start the scan by hand from the Scan menu at the day/time you wish and let it run. Secunia then runs every week on the same day/tim. By the way, you can always run Secunia from the Scan menu whenever you want.
