I am getting a cat.4 warning about Windows XP Home Edition on one of my computers but not on the other. Also I'm getting the same on Internet Explorer 7. If Secunia thinks IE8 is the answer, They must not use XP. 45% of people loading IE8 (mostly on XP) have had major problems and/or had to remove it. I have gone through this ordeal 3 times and I will not load IE8 until it's working. |

http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/183... It is all I can think of. Big time frustrated at times myself but oh when you do make the break through and get the 100% score it is all worth it. Hang in there and luck! I assume you tried to trace out the file Secunia is trying to report as insecure in XP? The decision to update is yours, you can always create an ignore rule. As far as browsers, try something else like mozilla? |
