If you feel that you need the HP Info Center then follow these steps: HP Info Center is part of the HP Quick Launch Software package which you can remove using system control -> software. However, for me this did not delete the program folder C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP Info Center which I had to do manually. After that Secunia PSI acknowledged that the insecure program had been removed. You can then download the latest version of HP Quick Launch Software by going to http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html and entering your computer model, then search through the software list to find the current version. At the moment this is version 6.30 Rev. J (28 Jan 2008) and the filename is sp38266.exe which seems to have replaced the sp38166.exe that Secunia PSI wrongly refers to (probably because the original 2007 HP advisory that is still quoted on many security related sites mentioned that file as a fix).
