i have updated with windows update no more updates
but psi says my powerpoints is insecure soi have downloaded the patch manually from the microsoft website but when i try to apply the patch it says its already installed.
after rescan it says that powerpoints is still insecure and wants me to download the patch again.

thread can be closed.

i found a way to fix it

installed this
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?Fa...

powerpoint viewer and then uninstalled it and now its 100% secure again

This solution also worked for me. I never used powerpoint viewer anyway.

Note to those who used the Office link in this thread. As of 6/15 it was the 2007 file, which PSI doesn't like here. Today, 6/16, there is a PowerPoint Viewer 2007 SP2 update from MS and another MS Office update. Took two tries but it cleared it. PSI is saying PPView is part of the system and so a full scan is necessary. Wonder why.
