I enjoy being a part of BETA test groups...
I had installed all the BETAs since the announcement. They ran to my satisfaction until, 1.0.0.7 BETA. Now on startup, PSI opens to a window on my desktop instead of to an icon in the system tray. It's annoying to have to watch PSI startup on the desktop. Please offer an option to open to a minimized icon in the system tray.
I continue to use PSI as a check for outdated software. There are a few products you don't check for. I will add them.

No problems here. Are you sure it is not a configuration problem locally with your pc?

My configuration did not change from 1.0.0.6 to 1.0.0.7. All other auto starts resident in my system tray don't open an initial window on startup.
There are only three check boxes in the Secunia Settings screen. I have the two PSI Settings boxes checked as I have on all previous versions. Something has changed.
Since you said yours is OK, then I will uninstall and reinstall to see if that fixes the problem. Will be back... |

Problem (apparently not a problem), solved. Unstalled PSI 1.0.0.7 using RevoUninstaller, and reinstalled. PSI now starts minimized to the System Tray as was the case before writing this thread and before 1.0.0.7. I just upgraded to 1.0.0.8 with now apparent issues as yet. |
