I have downloaded the setup file and have run it (unistall old program and install new one). After running, the program starts, but I am still showing ver 1.0.0.4.
What can I do? |

Try exiting the PSI, (next to the clock) there is the Secunia PSI icon, right-click it and choose Exit, then "Ok". This should close the PSI and allow you to install the new version.
Afterwards, try to download the new version and re-install it.

Could it be a problem of handling with Vista user rights?

I have uninstalled the old version, rebooted the computer, downloaded the PSISetup file and ran it. I still end up with version 1.0.0.4.
For the other, I am running Win XP professional. |

After my last post, I tried downloading the setup file through IE7. Although the file locations are the same, it did download the correct version, and I have it installed. I normally use Firefox to download. |

The PSI setup file doesn't contain in it's file name the version number, so you might have installed the 1.0.0.4 version again by mistake.

The "PSISetup.exe" files is what I downloaded. It was supposed to be the 1.5 version. There is a difference in file size between 1.0.0.4 and 1.5, with 1.5 being larger. |
