Orginally I had PSI version downloaded, but this morning when I ran a scan I got a message about a problem with CAPICOM 2.x however to find info about removing it was prohibited because the IE browser failed to open properly. After looking and not finding how to handle that problem I uninstalled Secunia to try a reinstall.

First I scanned my system online (OSI) which found no problems, then clicked to download PSI version, but now get this error message:

Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy. More information at: http://nsis.sf/NSIS_Error (By the way, what a royal pain to not be able to copy and paste that message!)

Please kindly advise what the problem is and how to fix it. Oh, this is a Acer Aspire laptop, with Vista, and AVG Anti-Virus Free.

ThanX!

I know nothing about CAPICOM or IE and less about Windows . This is the latest on Capicom from Secunia.

I would guess that if it or IE is giving problems that may give you problems loading PSI.

That's all the non-techie help I can give .

There are plenty of threads to read concerning PSI download/installation problems.

PS: you NSIS link seems to be broken.
