Secunia has found an insecure Flash player (9x) within a Game I downloaded. I don't believe I can fix this since it is embedded . I have already downloaded and installed Flash 10x. Is there anyway to fix this or does it go in the "Ignore" area? Thanks for any suggestions -- Pats3TX |

It is very unwise to ignore any security issue with the dreaded flash. If U are sure it is embedded into the programme U should ask the programme vendor to update it yesterday. It is possible that the vendor will tell U it is used in the game & has no exposure. If that is the case I would still not ignore it - these vendors do eventualy issue a cosmetic patch & PSI will stop reporting. Thanks Maurice, sorry if I sounded flip - I have uninstalled the program and contacted the vendor about it - re-ran the scan and all is well. Thanks for the help. Now we'll see if the vendor is as concerned as they should be. Pat -- Pats3TX |
