Hello All,

My Secunia score is 99% with one category 4 threat.
The threat involves Mozilla Firefox 3.5.x.
I've updated and rescanned and still get the same result.
I used the supplied download link to update same.

I don't know if I'm doing something improperly.
Your assistance in helping me solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Kindest regards,
Doug

The new update for Firefox-3.5.2-is available here: http://www.filehippo.com/

PS If you're having trouble with download you may need to check your firewall settings or your add-ons.

I already updated Firefox to 3.5.2 - which number is tagged in the "about" section - but it is of no effect on the problem. PSI still considers the Firefox version as a 3.5 with no further indication.

So, I am wondering whether a PSI update isn't necessary to fix the issue.

Regards

Are you using the Secunia PSI in the Advanced mode? If so FF should be in the Patched section with a Cat 4 risk-it should also be listed in the Secure Browsing section as Patched with no SAID listing-@ least that's the way mine is listed. Even with a Cat 4 risk this means all patches have been applied & that's all you can do.
