Hello,

I like this program. But today I ran into a peculiar problem. Secunia PSI found that XP Professional is a threat and needs to have 1 solution applied. However, I have XP Home Premium, not XP Professional. Is something wrong with my computer? I have not clicked the solution button. I don't know how to find the path.

TC

To locate the exact file that the Secunia PSI has detected, please follow these guidelines using the
ADVANCED interface:
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
* Click on the + sign of the programme to “expand’ it.
* Click on Technical Details in the Toolbox to see the installation path of the detected file.

Thank you.

When I clicked on the Technical Details, this is what was in the box that popped up:

I don't understand this.

I guess I should have added some info on my system.
It's a Gateway desktop that I just reformatted and did a clean reinstall of Windows XP Home Edition - version 2002 - Service Pack 3.
I partitioned the drive. The reformat was the only solution to a very bad virus, trojan, rootkit, spam attack.

You need to manually run Windows Update and be sure that you have installed all relevant updates. During the next couple of days your fresh XP Home installation may also indicate via Windows Update that there are a few other updates for your computer.

That must have been it. I've been checking on updates a lot to be sure I have them. I just opened Seunia again and the insecure alert about XP Professional is gone. I scanned and it did not show up again.

Thank you!
