I have uninstalled the Adobe Flash Player multiple times, rebooted multiple times, rescanned multiple times and Secunia still says that it is still on my system (XP IE8.) I have searched my system and cannot find anything. All programs were shut down, nothing was running in my tray. I had had this problem with installing previous versions but the problem was always resolved by uninstalling the present version. Any advice?

Seem Adobe has been patched to 9.0.13 as Ive updated already - wonder about Secunia mentioned unpatch... it already released so you need to open Adobe 9.0 then update and it will be updated to 9.0.13

In PSI select ADVANCED then click on + to expand the tree you want to see then click on Open Folder to take you directly to the location of the file.

Getting rid of Adobe is just about as hard as getting rid of Norton.

YoKenny with you 100% on "almost as hard to get rid of as Norton." I'm not a very technical person so that's why I now use VS Revo Uninstaller & wish I had known of it when trying to uninstall OEM Norton that came bundled with new computer. I also think that a lot of users forget to uninstall/reinstall for each browser they use as Adobe is browser specific- or at least Flash Player is-& I don't use Adobe Reader I use Foxit Reader I just use FP for browsing. Having said all this, just wait 'till Java(tm) issues their patch-more problems & questions.
Hope you have a nice weekend.

Regards, wr

This is what finally worked for me. I went to the advanced interfaced mode of Secunia and end of life tab and deleted the flash file.
