I updated Reader to version 9.1.3 using the update program file. The previous version was 9.1.2. Reader Help/About now reports it as being version 9.1.3 as expected. After updating Reader Secunia reports Reader as insecure and version detected as 9.1.2.82 and C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe as location. When I check the properties for the file AcroRd32.exe it shows as being version 9.1.0.163. The file AcroRd32.dll does have a version of 9.1.2.82. I cannot find a file with a version of 9.1.3. The most recent date modified is one file with a date of 7/22/09 and the next earliest is 5/21/09. Firefox Default browser Vista x64 ultimate |

You would appear to be up to date , if your situation now relates to mine at the end of this thread : http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/240... Your file versions seem OK - when last heard Secunia were using the annots.api file in the plug_ins folder to check the version - this is also listed in the about plugins link in the help menu. -- It always seems impossible until its done. | Same Here! I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling 9.1.0. Then I downloaded and installed 9.1.1, 9.1.2 and 9.1.3 patches/updates incrementally. Still AcroRd32.exe (9.1.0.163)! |

That's Adobe's system & Secunia makes sense of it (more or less). The .exe file is only the "pathway" to the folder , not the version marker read by PSI. -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |
