Installed service pack 2 without any problem but Secunia reports that service pack 1 is installed (?) and says it is unsafe. |

Yes I did (several times). Also checked if service pack 2 was recognized by the PC (Computer/Properties) and yes; service pack 2 is there. Also re-checked the MS update system again. All seems to be OK. The problem is even that you can't turn this Secunia error message off. |

If you can't find any more information to help you, in the patched program list....on-line references; tech details, etc., you will probably be best advised to contact Secunia Support direct. support@secunia.com -- Toshiba Satellite L300D Vista Home Premium 32bit SP2 Chrome 19 Stable Channel Chrome Canary 21 IE9 Secunia psi 2.0.0.4003 |

Hi hojo, Have you tried this? 1. To locate the exact file that the Secunia PSI has detected, please follow these guidelines using the ADVANCED interface: ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ * Click on the + sign of the program to “expand’ it. * Click on Technical Details in the Toolbox to see the installation path of the detected file. * Remember the installation path and close down the menu. * Click Open Folder and locate the detected file. Please post back here with results. Thanks wr, Solved!! What I found in using the 'Open folder' was that Secunia scanned a few days ago: before the Service Pack update. I rescanned with Secunia in which it updates the PC with remote file- and security signatures. And presto... 100% secure now. Sorry Mogs, what I did was a rescan within the application reported as being faulty. Not a total rescan. So I learned something: a rescan is a full one. |
