I ran the fix to install Adobe Flash Player 10.x (general plug in and adope air plug in). When I run Secunia again, it shows up. I have rebooted in between.

There are quite a few threads covering this topic on the forum. It's worth spending some time browsing/reading. Those by Maurice Joyce you may find particularly useful.

Adobe Air was downloaded with Adobe Reader.

Do U use Adobe Air? Do U know what it does?

If not just uninstall it via add/remove. While there why not remove other Adobe dross like Adobe.com & a new piece of useless bloatware called Adobe Download Manager.

Adobe Reader & Adobe Flash work without these programmes.

U do not require Adobe Reader either if U just use it read PDF files on the web or email attachments.

Foxit does this & is much more secure & faster than Adobe.

Installed Foxit...working great, enough for my needs, and so much smaller ! Got rid of the toolbar that was showing insecure; and of course the old Adobe. Thanks again Maurice.
