Was going to give you the same advice (Google) , after I found this info on what it is & where it "should" be installed - in the GAC :- http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documenta... This site offers replacement files for corrupted downloads ; if you choose ttat option :- http://download.corruptedfilerepair.com/post/2008/... (Didn't have the opportunity to post last night.) Always useful to know in case it happens again - for whatever reason - hopefully not !:o)) -- It always seems impossible until its done. Nelson Mandela |

Hi all, If you want to download OOo without Java(tm) JRE, here's the link-untick the box "Include the Java JRE with this download", find your language/platform-proceed with download. http://download.openoffice.org/other Regards, wr -- HP Pavilion Slimline Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32 bit AMD Athlon 64 X2 Firefox 17.0.6 ESR The weakest link of a computer system is always sitting in front of the monitor. |

My upgrade of OpenOffice.org from 3.1 to 3.1.1 failed with repeated "Internal Error 2908" errors and "Error 1935". Other people have encountered this problem. Supposedly overcome by deleting the following registry key: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cur "B3414A45B4B628042B8446B35265C1BC"="c?\\WINDOWS\\s http://www.add-in-express.com/creating-addins-blog... Reportedly the problem can also be solved by temporarily renaming MSCOREE.DLL in windows\system32 (part of Microsoft .NET runtime) http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewt... The problem is evidently caused by a bug in the installer for Microsoft .NET runtime. Unfortunately, neither of the suggested workarounds helped me and I am still at the insecure rev of OpenOffice.org. -- Sometimes they fool you by walking upright. |
