My advanced scan continues to show the presence of Sun Java JRE 1.6.x/6.x notwithstanding the fact that I have deleted the program manually and installed Java version 6, update 16. I have read the other threads and used the PureRa program, but the bug remains. What am I missing?

Since I am not a computer wiz, if you respond, do it in a way that it is easily understood. Thanks.

***The problem is solved. I deleted the program in the registry.

Firstly, hello and welcome !
Presumeably you have the current version of Java and another showing as insecure ?
If you click on the + at the side of the insecure entry, it will expand to reveal further information...tech. details so on and so forth. You will be able to see the file path to enable you to delete it.
