Are you using Secunia in Advanced mode ? If so, surely there's more information available ? Could Secunia be detecting old files ? More info, and someone should be able to help you.

What will it prove by uninstalling Secunia. Then U will never know if U have an insecurity.

I do not use Vista but there are other threads on the forum U can try.

Here is a starter:

You need to answer questions and provide more information. You should see a + sign alongside the program shown as insecure. Click on that, and take note of the information found : relay it to the forum.

Hello!

Same problem here (Vista Ultimate, 32-bit, german).
Secunia PSI offers me this information about the problem:
http://secunia.com/advisories/36603/
As solution is only a link to windows-update offered.
But like the others with the same problem even MS-Update in
user-defined-mode does not offer any updates!
This problem still exists after reboots and several days.
Therefore this seems to me like a mistake of Secunia PSI. Maybe they
just scan for e. g. the english files and localized Vista-versions
differ from these.

Thats the only good answer to date. The + sign shows no valid path and everything is updates. Lets see what the techs say.

Hello!

Secunia has fixed their scanning rules/files and no more
problems are reported now (2009-09-16, 22:10 german time (MESZ) / CEST = UTC +2).

Problem still exists, even if Secunia altered its rules to avoid confusing some people.

Microsoft has posted a temporary fix that will work for many users. However, it may disable shared printers and files in small business settings. It is not/not distributed with Microsoft Update - one has to manually download and install.

I had to do another system scan and it was solved. I did not have to use the "workaround" posted above.

Upon more careful review, I think Secunia PSI is not yet detecting the SMB2 problem I noted above, since there really isn't a patch yet. The Microsoft FixIt link I provided disables SMB2 sharing, but doesn't fix the problem. (I.e. User: The door locks on my car have a problem; Microsoft: Don't worry - we'll disable your door locks; just climb in through the window)

While I love Secunia PSI, it sometimes seems to need several reboot and rescan sessions to bring me to "no problems". Adobe Acrobat 8.1.6 in particular is repeatedly detected as a false positive (8.1.3) until I manually rescan the application.

Windows Update has its own issues with not downloading/installing all important/critical patches in one session, too. That may be at least part of the problems noted above. You can also try to use Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2 (MBSA-2) to verify Secunia PSI's detections on the MS components ONLY (does not look at non-MS applications).
