I just ran a scan; my previous scans showed a total of 50 programs on
my computer. This last scan showed 74; all 24 additional are listed
as microsoft visual studio.net active x (20) 7.10.3052.4, (2)
7.10.6014.4 and (2) 7.10.6030.0. What is going on?

PSI has just added 14 versions (all patched) of the same files to my latest scan ; it also removed my security suite from detection altogether .

If you ever had a pet dog , you may recall that it has it's moments of madness (usually around dusk -for mine) . PSI has these moments too .

If they show as "secure" , no problem ; if they are showing as insecure check the installation path & post here for advice .

Secunia are currently checking into Visual Studio & C++ following the ATL file problems. Only guessing , but this seems likely to be part of their search . If you check the installation path of each version you may see that some of your essential programmes use these .dll type files.

Looks like the issue is fixed again, at least on my 2 PC's.
