I came across this article (and the linked article on the website) on how to avoid all the stodge that Adobe tries and often succeeds in loading up with Flash , when downloading from the Adobe website. You can also load Reader without AIR , etc. & keep it away. http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/get-adobe-... If you are already contaminated , it shows you how to clean up. Unfortunately , the IE links are only for CNET and FileHippo sources . If you have Firefox as well as IE , you can use it download the Flash ActiveX plug-in installer (for IE) using the method described and that should avoid the ADM.
