I can't get the installation of Java to complete. At the end I get an error code and it says file can't be unzipped. I've tried and tried, but to no avail. Can anyone help me? This was an attempt to use the patching program.

You could switch to this thread where there is advice from Maurice Joyce concerning a similar problem to yours :-

Thank you so much for your help!
I am completely new to Secunia, Kim Komando recommended it so I knew it had to be a good software.

PS: MInd like a sieve today ; should have checked if you have tried/are using PSI in "advanced" mode (link top right of any page) - not too difficult & you know where to get help.

I finally have the newest Java installed! Thank you so much for the instructions, I really appreciate them. I couldn't have done this without them. Yes, Kim Komando has a radio show and a neat website. it is: www.komando.com. You should check it out. Most of the software I have is by her recommendation.

Thanks again!

Hello again ,

I did have a quick glance at Kim's site earlier ; looks interesting . This is a site I always refer to ; Ian "Gizmo" Richards is well known to offer unbiased advice on Freeware (only) & has taught me loads . He now has a happy band of helpers ; you may find it of interest :-
