When I use the online scan on my computer I get several entries for Sun Java JRE. I get 4 entries for Sun Java JRE 1.5.x / 5.x and 5 entries for Sun Java JRE 1.6.x / 6.x. Should I uninstall all of these and just download and install the latest 1.6 update or do I need 1.5 and 1.6? |

The answer is almost certainly "Yes" , get rid of them & then reload the latest Java. If you wish to be absolutely sure , then post here the "installation path" of each instance . For a proper "clean out" use Maurice Joyce's Method on this thread :- http://secunia.com/community/forum/thread/show/275... Let us know your progress . -- It always seems impossible until its done.
